Choosing who to trust to your plastic surgery can be a difficult task. Depending on where you are, lax regulations in May to enable your “plastic” is not a general surgeon. Or it may be a physician trained in general surgery and Otolaryngology.
Plastic surgery is one of the most competitive specialties in. It is a rule in the top 3, which means that medical students in a rigorous process of entering this new development will be elected. Sometimes they pursue additional training places (community) in sub-specialty of plastic surgery. At the end they are certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (Canada). This is to certify that you are looking for. It’s not perfect, but it ensures that the body of surgeons was evaluated and determined it was a safe and competent surgeon plastic. Beware of “false” certification. Anyone can be a “society” and distribute certificates. GPs and other surgeons will then pay a fee to these companies in exchange for a certificate of membership. They can, etc. Am Soc of Am Soc Laser surgery or liposuction or the International Society of Aesthetic Surgery. . . . . They sound good, their certificates seem impressive, but they guarantee that the surgeon has paid its membership. There is no examination, no certification involved (is not a course of two weeks to liposuction is no real training) experience. Finally, you want to board of plastic surgery or the Royal College of Surgeons, medicine and plastic surgery. If you do not know. . . another doctor or ask your family doctor.
