Victoria Beckham Faces pcos fertility crisis
“Posh Spice” Victoria Beckham suffers from a major source of female infertility called polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) while attempting to become pregnant again.
The latest edition of the magazine said today the English pop singer and her husband, soccer superstar David Beckham has been trying for a fourth child for the last three months. The magazine reports that they are now consulting specialists in Los Angeles and London.
During a routine examination in exclusive Portman Hospital in London two weeks ago, the 34-year-old Spice Girl was warned by doctors that her fertility rate is lower when their first child. The Beckhams have three son – Brooklyn, nine, five and Cruz, Romeo, three.
An insider told Now magazine: “Victoria is suffering from polycystic ovarian syndrome and irregular periods, both for their chance to hit a baby. Do not be nervous as she knows it will not help, but it is increasingly the source of concern. “PCOS is a heartbreaking, manageable but reversible disease caused by an imbalance of hormones. It can affect the sensitivity of Women and menstrual cycle is considered as 10-15% of women of childbearing age are affected. A classic symptom of the disease is the lack of ovulation, without which pregnancy is impossible.
Fifty percent of women with PCOS are obese or overweight. But it can also strike young women of normal weight and healthy lean women. The post-menopausal women are also vulnerable to PCOS.
Other symptoms are skin diseases like acne and brown spots on sexual interest facial and body hair, fatigue and mood swings, loss of male hair in women and reduced.
